What is an Ideal Customer Profile?

  • Is easy to sell to

Identifying Your Ideal Customer

So, how do you identify your ideal customer? Start with these three steps:

    1. Develop a Hypothesis

Begin by creating a hypothesis about who your ideal customer might be and why. Keep your hypothesis loose, as narrowing down your target persona too much will only constrain your thinking and observation in the long run. Avoid fixating on a specific niche, as you don’t have enough information to make a sound decision.
